Arsenal striker Ju Young Park believes that he is good enough to feature regularly in the English Premier League, if required.
Speaking to Arsenal Player, the South Korean explained that he is working hard in training to settle down in England adding that fitness-wise he is in a good condition as will of course wait for manager Arsene Wenger to use him in important games in the domestic league and also in the Champions League.
Asked about the form of Dutchman Robin van Persie, the 26-year old was full of praise for the striker as he declared that the other players as well as the fans were all impressed with the 28-year old’s start to the season.
And with Arsenal to soon face the busy Christmas period, Park concluded by saying that if the Arsenal boss opts to rotate in the offensive department, he will make sure to be ready although there are other strikers who could fill the void.
On playing regularly, Park said:
[If I'm ready to play in the Premier League?] I will try my best to show that I am in the best condition and show that I am good enough to play there.
My training and my lifestyle is helping me adjust to the English game. At the moment I don’t have any problems at all – I am in good condition.
The final decision is of course made by the manager so I will do my best to prepare myself in case I get a chance.
[Robin van Persie] is doing a great job in every game and all the players and the fans are impressed by him.
When I watch him in matches and training, I think he’s a very good player.
[If I will replace him when he is rested?] I am not the only striker in the squad apart from Robin so I will just do my best to prepare myself physically. Then the decision is made by the manager.
