I would like to start by apologising to all those who contacted us over the last few weeks asking what was going on with our website and received no reply.

To keep it short, the key members of my team and myself met last month to discuss the future of The Gunning Hawk and after evaluating all possible options, all of us agreed that the best option is to shut down our blog and to focus on other, more important things in our lives.

As I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2012, allow me to conclude by showing my gratitude to all those who supported us and visited us regularly over the three years that we have been online.
