Lionel Messi joins Cesc Fabregas praise, “If he chooses to leave Arsenal I am sure it would be for Barcelona”
Barcelona’s Lionel Messi is the latest player from the Spanish giants to talk about Cesc Fabregas, Arsenal’s captain who according to Messi should leave the Gunners as his chances of winning trophies with the Gunners are very limited.
The Argentinean is quoted as saying by The Sunday People:
Everybody at Barcelona knows about Cesc Fabregas.
He is one of the greatest midfield players in the world and the sort of player who would suit the Barcelona style of football.
If he chooses to leave Arsenal I am sure it would be for Barcelona. And, if there is any doubt, I would like to say to him this is the best football club in the world – and if he came here I am sure he would become the greatest midfield player in the world within three years.
If he came now he could learn off players like Andres and Xavi, who are the best central midfield pairing in the world.
At Arsenal he is the main guy, but he knows how much he can learn from Andres and Xavi, and I know that they would both love to have him.
If he does decide to leave this summer, I think it is time for him to finally come home.

The 22-year old added how a player of Fabregas’ caliber should be “winning league titles and European Cups”.
He said:
I understand that Arsenal means a lot to Cesc.
But there comes a point in your life when you have to think about winning the biggest prizes in football, and I think it has got to that point for him.
He has given Arsenal great service, but he should be winning league titles and European Cups.
I played with him for the youth team at Barcelona and you could tell he was a special player – he had great vision and passing range even then.

Fabregas will learn a lot playing with Messi, Xavi and Iniesta. I suggest the Monsiurs M X and I have a word with Mr. Wenger. I’m sure he will find a way to fit in these 3 players in the Arsenal team to play along with Fabregas!

If Baca is “the best team in the world and have the best midfield players” like Messi said, why are they looking for Fabregas? It is easy to remember that we have not won any trophy for four seasons but have forgotten that you can’t win trophies all the time. You cannot be at that level when you win trophies every season, that will mean perfection, which only happens in dream land, it is not realistic. The game is all about ups and downs, there comes a time when you win trophies and a time when you are without trophies, regardless of the type of players you have.
Does it mean that, Wenger or the Arsenal club can not do anything about these stupid people from Barcelona for christ sake, every day, Fabregas, Fabregas why he should be coming to Barcelona, They are stupid set of people, if they are the best in the world, and they had the best midlefield players in which Fabregas would lean from, then why are they not content with their players and leave our fab alone.
I think barca are wary of us…..they should shut their mouth and show that there are best in performance..and the best team loses against rookie team rubin kazan how sad..arsenal is the best..
ehmm every team lose games, and barca won the treble and the champions league, so definetely its the best club in the world, there is no doubt about it, and i would hate to see it but cesc will leave one day to barcelona, there cannot be a good catalan playing in a team other than barca, it has been like that since the beginning of barca
The reason why it won’t effect Arsenal so much when Cesc returns to Barca…..Song/Denilson/Ramsey/Diaby/Nasri/Wilshere/Fran!!! With the cash, £45mill bring in Zapata/Van der Wiel/Barnetta/Afellay and build the squad and keep the team ethos. We went on a 20 game unbeaten run without Cesc last season and we are stronger this year! One man does not make Arsenal, no matter how good he is. I will miss him as i feel he is the worlds best at the moment, but Arsenal have so much talent and can become even stronger without if Wenger brings in the right players! Vermealen to be captain!!!
More to the point- what about Messi coming to play and try his luck at Arsenal. This is the best league in the world with the toughest competition. If you can succeed here you know you are the best. Cesc knows he is but Messi thinks playing Malaga makes him a hero!? Time to step up Lionel old fruit!!

It’s hard to blame the players at Barcelona for commenting on Fabregas. They get asked the question so they answer. Besides, they don’t handle signing. However, the director of football needs to be held at a higher standard then the players so he needs stop taping up Fab. When he opens his mouth, then I have a problem since there are rules in place against that sort of action.
they should rlly leave fabregas alone, i mean they keep saying they want to play with him, then join him at arsenal! ( i agree with ibro). he isnt going, for the last time, they keep on pushing him to come back, but from my point of view, i havent really seen many players go back to play for their old club
Fabregas is one of the best players ever! He is so young yet so talented. He should be winning much more awards than he already is. At this pace, by the time he’s in his early 30’s he’ll definitely be crowned the best footballer.
